Thank you to everyone who completed this survey, valuable information on the current and future job market for prospective students was obtained.

There were 148 surveys distributed and 52 were returned resulting in a 35.1% response rate.

Current employment status:

Working as a nuclear medicine and/or PET technologist 75%, 39 out of 52

Not working as a technologist and not seeking employment as a technologist. (Working as an administrator, retired, etc.)

19.2%, 10 out of 52

Seeking employment as either a
nuclear medicine or PET technologist.

Considering only those individuals who are currently working as a nuclear medicine or PET technologist, the response rate was as follows:

Facilities planning to expand:

There were 5 facilities that reported expansion in the future; 3 are planning to expand and offer PET and 2 are planning to expand and add nuclear medicine cameras.

Educational Interest
