Introduction to Patient Care

This course provides an overview of the fundamental principles and techniques of providing care to patients in a healthcare setting. The course is designed to introduce students to the roles and
responsibilities of healthcare professionals in the care of patients, and to provide them with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to deliver effective and compassionate patient care. Topics covered in this course include communication skills and techniques for effective patient interactions, patient assessment and documentation, basic patient hygiene and grooming, nutrition and fluid balance, mobility and positioning techniques, patient safety and infection control, and end-of-life care and ethical considerations.
