This course acquaints the student with the clinical environment as well as the radiographic equipment and procedures. The student performs radiographic procedures during all phases of clinical practicum. In this course, the student works primarily under direct supervision of a technologist. The student will observe, assist, and perform radiographic procedures. As the student gains confidence with these procedures, they work towards demonstrating clinical competency on at least six (6) competency exams.
