MCHP’s Certified Nursing Assistant course is designed to present the knowledge and clinical skills for students to enter the healthcare field and work in a variety of settings. Students, working small cohorts, will participate in hands on clinical, lab, and classroom instruction.
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Course is designed to present the knowledge and clinical skills necessary to become a certified nursing assistant. The student is introduced to the concepts of legal and ethical aspects of care, communication, documentation, and safety.
MCHP’s objectives include:
- Caring for the patient’s physical systems;
- Infection control;
- Care of patients throughout the lifespan;
- Entering the health care field.
