There is no question that college is expensive. At MCHP, we strive to provide gold-standard education that results in exceptional patient care. We are committed to this goal, but it comes at a cost.
Health professions education – particularly clinically-based – is tremendously expensive. This is due to the very low faculty to student ratios that we are required to maintain in order to deliver the most effective learning experiences.
Your gift to MCHP will help students, many of whom are the first in their families to attend college. By supporting students at MCHP, you will be opening doors to educational opportunity, changing the lives of our students and their families, and improving patient outcomes by favorably effecting both the number and the quality of health professions graduates in Maine.
